Deanna and Matthew’s wedding at The New York Botanical Garden was a perfect place for them to celebrate their special day. It is right across the street from Fordham University where they met about ten years ago, and they tied the knot at the Fordham University Church.
To highlight the venue’s natural beauty, they chose a muted color scheme of mauves, champagne, and duty rose for a soft and feminine look, with pops of moody tones to add depth. They wanted the reception ballroom to be an extension of the surrounding garden. Their dance floor was wrapped in gold vines, and the flower arrangements were natural and wild, comprised of trailing greenery. Deanna also looked stunning in her Marchesa gown detailed with cascading floral appliqués and feather embroidery.
It was truly an incredible day for a wonderful couple and I’m so honored I had the opportunity to capture their most special day!
